Hey, cut down on that racket, I'm trying to take a nap.
Who is that strange fellow shooting from the chair.
Looks like some kind of shape shifter.

Last black powder related event (June 2, 2012) I attended was at Bent 's Fort (La Junta, Colorado). Since it's National Parks, no shooting, no food, no pie eating contest (I'm OK with that since I don't drink). They had about 50 plus folks red acting the fur trade era in a recreated fur trade fort.

This was a small scale event, there were five of us for the most part. We set up on my brother in law and sisters place in SW Mo. We had ET and old man up from Texas, Indy from over east of here a couple of hours, Kwilfong from down just over the Ar line and Fly came up from east central Ok. All guys Ive met through BP forums, this was our first year and have plans to keep it a yearly event. We shot, cast balls, fixed and cleaned everything we own a few times, fished, told lies, ate like pigs and had an all around good time! Had to include the group photo....
