slugs in a modified barrel
I have a 20 ga mossberg with a modified barrel, can i shoot rifled slugs through it?

Yes
Rifled slugs in a modified choke smoothbore, no problem. Probably get poor accuracy with sabot slugs, I'd avoid those.

Yes you sure can!!! IMP CYL is said by mossberg to be ideal but you are safe and will have satisfactory accuracy.
I am super happy with easy to attain 6 inch groups off hand nearly rapid fired. Brent |

thanks guys, ive been using an improved choke in my winchester 1400, but the mossberg doesnt a choke in it, just wasnt sure anymore.

As in it is not threaded? If not fine... but if threaded you could easily get the accu-choke.

Rifled slugs are made to be fired safely in ANY choke. Chances are though, they will perform better in IC. Sabots in anything but a fully rifled barrel is a waste of your money.
