As a side note-I dont really need it, but if its a good buy I'd take it.Can always use another gun! I own a couple handguns, but don't know alot about this model.Have no Idea what its worth, or what a new one costs.

This is just my opinion but if the gun looks to be in good condition it is absolutely worth $400 with 350 rounds of ammo. I wouldnt hesitate to buy it. I have owned alot of guns and I can count on one hand how many I got to fire first before I bought it. The XD9 is a very good firearm and to get that plus 350 rounds for around $100 less then a new one I would jump on it myself. They run around $499.99 new but add to that around $60.00 - $100.00 worth of ammo depending on what it is.

I owned an XD in 40... Loved that pistol, it shot great.

I would assume the 9mm version is just as good.

If the pistol is in good shape, and you give it a good once over (including a field strip) and everything looks good... go for it.

I would if I was given the offer.

XDs are nice guns if you're the striker fired pistol type of guy. they feel better than Glocks in my hand. Sounds like a sweet deal with all the extras.

Sounds like a great deal. Good luck with it. Just one little piece of wisdom that I recently found out on mine. Don't lube the firing pin/striker area. It fills up with junk and you get light primer strikes and other issues. I didn't know that when I first got mine, actually just found it out because mine started having light primer strikes. Had to detail strip the slide and clean all the junk out. I could see why it was striking light. I saw globs of residue and the striker was sticky to the touch.

I am sure you will love it though. Great handgun at a great price.

Probably.

Ammo -- the cheapest blasting ammo is about $12/50, so about $85 worth of ammo, at least.

So, figure you're getting the XD basically for $315 (without even knowing about the case and holster).

Hopefully you have short fingers. I never could get that grip safety to disengage.
