Colt Delta Elite pics

The newest addition to the family. A Colt Delta Elite.

It came with box, papers, holster, Spegel grips, and a GI guide rod.
I have the stock rubber grips and the goofy plastic guide rod, and double spring set up, but they will stay in the box.

Any ammo recommendations?

For hunting"

For defense?

For targets?

Thanks

Congrats!

Georgia Arms has very reasonable prices on 10mm ammo, both plain old range ammo, and good self defense loadings.

Looks like they were a tad more enthusiastic when roll-marking yours than they were with mine. Mine's stainless, and I wanted to have it satin bead-blasted, but I don't know how well the (rather shallow) rollmarks would take it.

Where'd you get the purty wood grips?

Thanks Tamara.

The grips are from Craig Spegel.

The holster is a Bianchi #50P Chapman Plus.

I'll check up on Georgia Arms.

DoubleTap's stuff is, by all reports, indeed outstanding, and McNett is to be commended for his dedication to the caliber, and his entrepreneurialism in bringing the market something it obviously wanted. I'll still sing the praises of Georgia Arms for making high quality, affordable shootin' ammo, though.

Here's my SS Delta.

RogerC, that is a fine looking Delta, usually do not see blue ones in that good a condition.
