I'm jealous.
I have the M1, I have a 1903, maybe someday I'll have the 1917 and 1903A3 to go with it. but alas, for now I'm stuck pining over Tads collection.

I'm figuring that I am not going to be able to find a real Thompson. Especially not in my price range.

I can see you put alot of time into those weapons. They look pristine. Is that a CMP carbine?

Thanks, Punisher.
I bought the carbine from a guy I knew from the Army in a parking lot in Orlando, FL for $125 in 1993. It had been sporterized but it had some spare parts and four magazines with it, three 15's & a 30. I bought a CMP walnut stock set for it and restored it to military configuration. It is a six digit Inland with an undated Saginaw barrel. It had been through an arsenal because the rear sight and magazine release had been updated as they are in the photo. It is a great shooter and I am happy with it just as it is. |
