Benelli Mag Extensions Harder to Get Now?
I read on another website today that due to BATF restrictions this accessory is no longer being imported.
It went on to say: "From info on the net i found about foreign made shotguns- there is a ban on any tube longer than 4 or 5 shots for any shotgun that has more than 10 foreign made components (parts). this seems to be included in snipets of the laws written to ban chinese imported AK's and such in 89. It is/was not part of the assault weapons ban. therefore all the pistol grip and removable mag rules don't apply specifically as far as I (barely) understand it. also, it seems benelli had been in violation of this rule quite by accident, so they quietly came to terms with the atf about discontinuing extend mags and only selling the regular sporting models now." Anyone know if this info is accurate? |

I hadn't heard this, but it really doesn't make any difference. SRM and Dave's Metal Works make excellent Benelli extension tubes.

Yep thats true. You can have a Benellie with a ten round mag but you can't have the pistol grip. If you want the pistol grip the gun can't hold more than five rounds.
