Awesome value-Federal Intensity Riflescopes
I just wanted to pass on some info to my hunting buddies working with a minimal budget. I recently purchased a 3-10X-44mm Federal Intensity from the Sportsmans Guide for $49.99. The scope is normally priced at $180 to $250, depending on the retailer. I initially purchased one for my Savage 99, .308 Win. I was absolutely amazed with the clarity and performance of this scope. The scope is manufactered in the Phillipines (not China!) by Weaver. The clarity is unmatched in this price range. Anyway, I bought a second one to replace the Bushnell on my Sav 110 .243 Win. If you are on a budget, and need a scope, don't waste your money on a BSA, NC Star, Barska, Simmons, or the cheap Bushnells. Give these a look. I think you will be more than pleased.

They are very similar to the old Simmons 44 Mag line. Probably made by the same company in the Phillipines.
I have quite a few sitting on rimfires and small calibre centrefires with not a problem in many years. Optically punches well above its weight (price) and is my favourite inexpensive scope. Very good pricing available at a few places as they are a discontinued line. |
