Nickel Boron BCG

So, I got a new upper with a nickel boron bcg. (There's no brand name on it anywhere.) As I'm wiping it down, all the carbon and fouling comes right off with no problems. However, this doesn't stop fouling from being deposited inside the upper and chamber. Anyone who's been shooting with a nickel boron bcg for a while, what do you do as far as maintenance with your upper, bcg, and chamber? The reason I ask is because I'm still getting more resistance than I think I should when I try to manually cycle the bolt. Just wondering whether this is me or the product. (Yes, I know ARs are supposed to run well lubed, but that's the whole point of a nickel boron bcg--it's already "lubed.")

You should lube it the same as any other BCG. The NiB just makes it easier to clean (as you noted) and maybe possibly keep the gun running longer while fouler. You should still lube it, though.
