IDPA Speedloader holders

I'm currently using simple nylon velco cover speedloader holders, and I'd like to upgrade to something a bit faster..

I noticed safariland had some that looked pretty good, but their description for what it fits doesn't make any sense and their support wasn't any help either.

I'm using HKS 10-A speedloaders, seems there should be something available..somewhere. Any suggestions?

The Safariland spring steel carriers, the CD2 and the CD 6 and the 333 PPC carrier are specifically NOT allowed in IDPA.
Blade-Tech is making Kydex speedloader carriers that will be faster than a pouch.

Never mind, I think I'll pass on $50 for a double speedloader holder.. It isn't going to be that much faster..at least not for me.

If you really want a fast speedloader get some Safariland comp 3's I think. I watched a guy use them at the Georgia State IDPA championship match and they are quick. I have about a half dozen of them and a black leatherette (naugahyde?) double carrier that I found in a vendor's junk box at a gun show. Got it for $5. The Safariland's are sweet in that they won't drop the rounds nearly as easily as the HKS's. You just pust them into the cylinder and that's it. Best of all, they're not much more than the HKS's.

I have seen homemade speedloader carriers.
He started with a piece of gray PVC conduit of the right I.D. for the speedloader to drop in. Slotted the conduit for his pants belt to pass through; two slots not quite opposite each other, say 150 deg apart. The conduit tall enough over the belt for the speedloader to drop in and rest against the top edge of the belt. Just enough conduit below the belt to keep the holder from tipping outward. Scalloped the top of the conduit so he could grab the body of the Comp II or III speedloader.
Cheap and effective.

Use the Comp III speedloaders with the Ted Blocker belt clips. The Blocker belt clips are IPDA legal and only cost a couple bucks each. See; Ted BLocker .com

I'll checkout Ted Blocker, sounds like the plan. I like the conduit idea as well, as I'm fairly handy..... which can be a bad thing if anybody notices I modified the recoil shield on my Windicater so it would always clear casings...not sure if that's an approved modification ;-)
