Tear Gas Pistol

My father in law has a tear gas pistol, made by Lake Erie Chemical Co. Straight cylinder, about 10 inches long, 3/4" diameter. Has a thumb trigger. He didn't know what it was, was given to him by someone. I looked up the patent # from the gun on Patent Office website. I'll post a photo when I get a chance to photo the gun. Anyone else ever seen one of these?

Tear Gas Pistol

Yep, I sure have I have one in .410 except it is about 6 inches long and have an original brochure for it as well. Send some photographs if you can?

Regards
