.22LR M240 Bravo (build thread)

Just won this used airsoft chassis for $360 shipped. This normally retails for $800 new plus tax/shipping

It's full metal except for the polymer buttstock.
I have the carrying handle and heat shield already.

Weighs 17lbs AS IS. Will likely be close to 20lbs when the action/barrel is completed

Will test fit to see if a Ruger 10/22 will fit but I don't think it will due to the wide 10/22 action

More likely a Marlin 795 will be used for this.
