Glock 35 or S&W M&P Pro .40?
As far as my gear goes, I am looking for an upgrade for USPSA and maybe a little Steel Challenge. I have seen a lot of Glock 34s around, but I have always liked the .40 s&w round. My question is, if I buy a new competition pistol, should I go with the Glock 35 or S&W M&P .40 Pro? And which ever I go with, do both have the ability to drop in a 9mm barrel and mag like the Glock 22 or S&W M&P, essentially also becoming a Glock 34 or M&P 9mm Pro? Thanks in advance for any response!

Both are great guns. The Glock has the edge due to the availability of aftermarket stuff being more readily available and cheaper.

While Glock still has an edge on replacement parts the gap isn't what it used to be. With the Apex stuff and lots of other goodies available from Speed Shooters Specialties and others, parts for the M&P are readily available. For the choice of gun, well you can't go wrong with either. Glocks are great and are widely used for a reason. I prefer the M&Ps and they are gaining in the shooting sports for a reason also. It comes down to personal preference. Shoot each platform and see what fits you best.
