FFL's around her are $50 - $75
But regardless. I don't think anyone that owns one of these believes the price is that far out of line in todays dollars. If the OP could get it for $1200, I believe he'd be very happy. That is until he reads the opinions in here. All I know is my Cbob is an absolutely fantastic example of a 1911. I like it so much I put 300 grips on it. Shoots as good as any other I own, which I won't brag about because I'd have to justify the added expense of another custom named builder. Also a quick search tells me the OP better jump on that ONE gun fast or he's gonna be very disappointed in the price on average. LOL.

I paid $950 for mine new and I am not going to sell it . I could care less if frame was cast. It really makes no difference in over all performance. In fact when DW went to forged frame and then got big head and jumped the prices . I lost interest in buying any more new pistols from them. .
Mine shoots well been reliable as can be . What more can you ask .

At $1500, honestly you're not that far from a custom Fusion.
That's what stops me from buying one in that range (other than that it's not exactly chump change ). I just can't see paying that much for a production gun when it's "only " another $500-$700 to go full custom. I'd rather drop the $1500 to Bob at Fusion and the other $700 when he's done. |

$1300 bucks for a new unfired CBOB? Today, I see no problem with that price. It is a great 1911 and deadly accurate. Yes,I own one and carry it every day.
