Saw one of these in a local shop. It is a plain, classicly styled side by side in 12 gage. Double triggers, slight beaver tail forend. Made in Japan by Miroku.

Can't find it in "Blue Book of Gun Values" and couldn't find any listed in a couple issues of "Gun List".

Seems like a nice SXS but since I can't find anything on it, I have no idea what it's worth. Can anyone help?

Dave

Unable to locate your shotgun under either spelling, Daily, Daley or Daly.

Can't help with valuation but here's some historical data.
The Japanese Charles Daly shotguns were imported form 1963 to 1973. Daly's were made by many different manufacturers over the years. The early ones were from European makes and United States companies such as Tolley of England, Newmann of Belgium Schiller and Charles Lindner - Prussians and Lefever Arms Co of New York. Later guns came from Heym and Sauer of Germany, Beretta and Bernardelli of Italy, Garbi of Spain and Miroku of Japan. The Prussian version is the most desirable from a collector's standpoint. In 1976 the trade name, Charles Daly, was purchased by Outdoor Sports of Dayton, Ohio. Not sure of the current status of the company.

I've recently seen brand new autoloader shotguns by Charles Daly, styled after teh Benelli line of autoloaders, so the company is definently in production.....
