SAKO Lever Action

In 1963 SACO Introduced the VL63 Finnwolf lever-action, It was built for a short time and was offered in calibers .243 Win. .244 Rem. .308 Win. and .358 Win.. Was there a problem with this rifle, or was it just not one that cought on well. Has anyone out there owned one or had the oppertunity to know someone who does? What is the magizine capicity?

I believe the magazine capacity can be either three or four, with the three round magazine fitting flush to the bottom of the rifle. Check out the posts at the site below concerning the VL63 and some possible issues.

I have read that the Finnwolf was killed by too high of a price and the decline in popularity of lever actions.
