good lordy that looks like fun! now all i need to do is become a gun designer and design a 500rd mag for that there XM8 for the sole purpose of testing it like that.

I saw one of those magazines mounted to an M-4 at a Special Ops exibition on Ft. Lewis a couple years ago. They are pretty awesome.

I'll impressed with the prospects of a new rifle when:
A) It isn't chambered for 5.56
B) Our guys with the boots have the body armor they need
C) They are in tracked vehicles instead of sheet metal bullet magnets
D) When they don't have to dig in their own pockets for little things like good goggles, etc.
