SBR Constructive Possession
Say you have both an AR rifle and an AR pistol. The pistol barrel is 16''<. Even Though the short barrel is for the AR pistol would this still be constructive possession? So essentially is it illegal to posses both and AR rifle and pistol?

Perfectly legal, as long as you don't have uppers for the pistol laying around with a rifle lower just laying around.
You can have multiple uppers for the pistol, as long as you only use them for the pistol. You can even have a rifle with it - as long as it only has rifle length uppers on it. Having an 'extra' rifle lower and an 'extra' pistol upper is where you'd be breaking the law. |

Don't understand your quote but I think a more sticky situation would exist if you had something like one of the carbine uppers on a pistol frame, thus turning it into a rifle and keep the stock pistol upper.
See once you turn it into a rifle by putting the conversion on it is a rifle, legal. If you put the pistol back together you turn your now "rifle" frame into an SBR, not legal without a stamp. |

jmorris,
You just confused two entirely separate matters. That's not what he was asking, not by a long shot. chasep255, Read my previous reply - I already covered that for you. |

Oops that was something I copied and pasted from another thread. I meant to quote something else but I guess my computer didn't copy it and that was the last thing on my clipboard. Didn't even notice that.
