S&W M19-5 value?
Hello,
I am considering a trade for my never been issued springfield mil-spec stainless, this model of revolver plus cash. I am not all that familiar with the model in question. What would be a fair value assumption for the S&W M19-5? My unfired stainless mil spec was about 700 bucks (with mag and ammo, a loss of a tiny bit of money but so goes the game). How much extra cash would be fair on this trade? Thanks guys. Jon |

carguy' is right on the pricing differences.
3" 19s are so rare, $700 seems a bargain to me...been wanting one for some time. a 3" 66 (stainless version of the 19) regularly fetches $750 on up at Gunbroker. |

I just got outbid yesterday on Gun Broker for a pristine M-19 4" that went for $550.
