New Member Introduction

Hello,
My name is Ray and I live in Washington State. Started muzzleloading in the early 70’s and worked for several years in a gun store specializing in black powder firearms. I took a hiatus for several years but have been doing some shooting lately and it seems corny but I’d forgotten how much fun it is.
I’ve built several custom rifles and just started a smooth bore flinter with parts that I had in the workshop.
This seems like a great forum and I wanted to start off by introducing myself.
Best to all
Ray

Troutcreek,

You need to stop immediately, before you spend your kids college fund. You could wind up having WAAAY to much fun.

Welcome

Thanks all for the welcome

Again this seems like a great forum.
I’ll post some pic’s of my flintlock build in the next couple days.
Barrel, lock, trigger, and butt plate are inleted but I’m perplexed on what to do for an under rib. The one that I have looks clunky.....

Thanks to all,
Ray

A hearty welcome to the board. Newbie fetches wood for the fire and water for the camp.
