I'd like to ask: Who has got the best price on Miculek grips? Thanks!

As far as I know Clark Custom Guns is the only place that sells these.

Just a suggestion and you can take it for what it is worth, but have you considered making your own? I wear grips on my guns that are very similar to the Miculek grip that I make myself using over size target grips as a base. It does not take that long and they are perfectly fit to my hand.

Thanks for your responses.
Gunslinger, that's a novel idea about making your own. I think CDNN always has surplus grips for sale in the SGN. Tell me, as I'm having a hard time visualizing the target grips, is the frame backstrap exposed on your custom grips? I do have rather large feeding claws but what I find bothers me the most about recoil on any handgun is the frame battering the web of my hand - and since this is a Model 19 w/ 2.5" barrel we're talking about here, I'd like to do what I can to prevent that battering. Also, on top of the aesthetic appeal of wood, I want a grip that won't 'grab' clothing like most rubberized grips do. Opinions anybody? (BTW, I don't know what a shortycicle is.) |
