Has anyone used this powder called zip

So at my not so local gun shop I picked up at the recommendation of the owner a powder called zip he gave me some load info for loading a 357. Just was wondering what you all thought of this powder and any info on it would be nice.

I have never heard of that powder. I did a Google look-up and all I got was the Zip Code for Gunpowder, MD.

I think someone is pulling your leg on this one. (LOL) Is there any other identification on the can or bottle??

Made by Ramshot powders, located in Montana. Zip is a fast pistol powder that can be used in the 357 but it's really too fast. Download their data for their recommended loads.

Enforcer is the 1 to use for full bore mag loads in the 357.

Be careful with Zip

I use zip for 45acp and 45Colt, those two works great in. But I've use'd it in 38 and 357 and it works very well in the 38 and in the 357 on the lower end it works pretty good, but not the power end of the 357. The lower end 357 is a very accurate load at 7.6 158 lwc with an max at 8.6 that is not too accurate. My best powders for 357 Mag are Longshot and WST, most accurate and big bang and just plain fun to shoot.

I also used it with .45 ACP. Never tried it with 357. I use H110 for my 357 and clays for my 38 target loads (clays is just CHEAP - only about 3 gr. - makes your powder last forever).
