Texas Reloadin Press

I have an opertunity to buy a press that has three fixed stations. The dies are in a tool head and the shell holders are on a platform that is attached to a cam. The press has a square base and the cam does not extend balow the press like you ormally see. I want to use it only for making my heavy pistol loads.

Is There A Question Here...some Where ???

The TEXAN works exactly like one one of the all time great presses, the CH 333.

Texans

Garryc--Agree with Wil--What, if anything, are you asking?

If you want advice as to whether to buy the press or no, you'll need to tell us a little more.

BTW, AFAIK, the Texan reloading press maker went out of business years ago. Therefore, spare parts will be hard to find, and customer support nonexistant. Now, don't let that stop you, if (a) you know for a fact that the machine in question is complete, and (b) you are certain that you can figure out how to use it. But basically, you're buying a collectors' item.

What I didn't check is if it uses standard shell holders. If it doesnt its no deal. The press is in great comdition. I was going to use it only for my heavy handgun ammo (huntin level loads) in 44mag and 454. Small run stuff not worth setting up the progressive for.
