I have two witness pistols and I've fired many CZ-75's. I don't find any differance in them. CZ-97 is a differant story, great gun.

Question: If you're looking at a witness in 40 cal, why not consider the 10mm?

For one thing, EAA is the importer for the Witness line. When it comes to service, they are terrible. The Witness line is a clone of the CZ line. I have owned both a Witness and CZ PCR and while I like both, I would never buy from EAA. I had a terrible experience with them and only want to deal with reputable
dealers.

GarryC: My department's ammo is .40 S&W, dont have a choice about that part of it. Ihad a CZ about 22 years ago, and liked it as best I can recall. Kinda like a Browning HP, fit my hand really well.

Keep those comments coming, fellow shooters!!

The only poly CZ imports is the 100. It is the only bad gun that CZ makes. In polymer, get the Witness. In steel guns, get the CZ, though the Witness is a pretty good gun. On the Witness side, the steel guns are better than their polymer versions.
