Hornady Handbook Cover?

Why is Spock (bottom) and Kim Jon Il (center) on the cover? And who's the dud at the top? My wife pointed this out to me.

Oh, Spock and the Enterprise went through a black hole in space and time and was trying to win enough money to purchase a flux capacitor while Kim Jon Il was hiding from the Black Dragon Tong and trying to win a trip to Iowa to hide, and the top dude was/is Jerry Miculek before S & W got a hold of him.

All at Camp Perry. Where those mountains came from is anyone's guess.

It's Joyce Hornady (founder) Ed Heers (engineer), and Jim Garber (customer service manager) who were all killed in a private plane crash en route to New Orleans in 1981.

How much weight do you think the plane retained after expansion?

They were firearms enthusiasts, ballisticians, and mortal beings. Everyone dies.
I think they would be happy to still have their lives celebrated with a laugh and a smile; rather than always having the mention of their names bring an end to the conversation.

Everyone dies. If you can't laugh about you approaching end, you're taking life too seriously. I believe those three would agree, and get a good chuckle out of the question in this post.
