Winchester Model 97

I am looking for disassembly instructions for a Winchester Model 97 takedown
12 gauge. I have a printout from the Winchester web site, but it only tells how to remove the barrel and magazine tube. I still need instructions to disassemble the receiver parts.

Winchester 1897 Takedown Instructions for Magazine Tube

I have a Model 1897 with a 2 cartridge "placeholder" in the magazine tube.
I would like to remove the plug.
I have removed the barrel and magazine from the Receiver Group.
I have removed two magazine plug screws from the magazine.
I have not been able to successfully remove the magazine plug.
Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
