Most AK's arent that accurate, though I have a 2x Truglo on my Saiga 223. 3.5" groups from 100yds off a sandbag.

I wouldnt say most are inaccurate, if anything, Id say most are more accurate than many give them credit for.

Ive had AK's across the price spectrum, and other than a couple of US made/assembled guns, they all shot pretty much the same. The US guns were the exception, and they were the worst shooting of the lot.

With ammo they like, you should expect around 3-4" at 100 yards from field positions using the iron sights.

Two five shot groups, separated by a sight adjustment, 100yds. Fired during a heavy downpour of rain which nearly obscured the target. Iron sights on my Yugo under folder, which has the original Yugoslavian barrel and was built from a war surplus parts kit.
