The Little Gun That Could HD VIDEO

You got to love the little Ruger LCP. If you are unable to carry something larger, or need a backup pistol, the "Elsie Pea" will do the trick. I had a good work out with my LCP at the gun club and this video features some discussion about the LCP with shooting and functional accuracy demonstrations. Terrific little guy.

How many of you guys carry an LCP? What's your favorite range ammo and carry ammo? Mine performed flawlessly with Critical Defense, but had a few fail to extracts with Blazer brass.

My primary edc guns are the Kel-Tec PF9 or the glock G27, but when I can't carry either of those I will carry the LCP. I love this little gun. It has proven to be very reliable with quality ammo. Practice ammo has been used with some malfunctions, but not as many as I experienced with the Kel-Tec 3AT or P32.

Hornady 90gr worked well in my LCP, but I have been wanting to try out the Double Tap 95gr ammo. Anyone using the Double Tap 95 gr? If so, how does it perform?

Pleased to report that my issues with FTEs yesterday were definitely ammo related. My Elsie does not like Blazer Brass .380AUTO. She did however, this morning, eat up over 100 rounds of Winchester White Box without a single glitch.

In the morning I put my wallet in my left back pocket and my LCP in my right back pocket.I always have it with me,it's a great little bug.
I usually have another pistol on my belt,(right now a SS Springfield Armory Champion Loaded 45) or one in my front pocket.
With the LCP, I practice with American eagle 95 grain fmj's, and carry it with Hornaday Critical Defence rounds.

Do you use a wallet holster for it? I wear dress slacks every day, except on weekends, and need something to cover the printing that results if I carry it without a holster.

I couldn't watch the entire video,,,

Call me an effete snob if you will,,,
But I just couldn't watch the entire video.

I got past him saying it used a "38 auto" cartridge,,,
But when he said "9 x 15" I closed the window.

You mightwant to look at this as you repeatedly referred to the round that the LCP fires as the 38 auto. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.38_Auto

"Other names for .380 ACP include .380 Auto, 9mm Browning, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9mm Short, and 9×17mm. It is not to be confused with .38 ACP or .38 Auto" (found online)

9mm Corto is the most fun sounding. Please use that term in your next video.

I welcome constructive criticism. Yes, I made a mistake.

I humbly repent of my sin.

9mm Corto, that should do the trick. Everyone will think I'm shooting some new exotic version of the LCP.

We know what you meant, 'cause no one even makes guns in .38 acp / auto anymore.
Not to be confused with .38 super, which, of course, looks just like .38 acp, but isn't.
Unless the .38 acp / auto is hand loaded to .38 super levels.
Then it is just like it.
So, we all knew you meant .380 + all the rest-cetera.

Again, I sinned. Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa.

I am now going to beat myself with a rubber hose, then a long length of knotted rope with some glass shards woven into it.

This is why God created the YouTube annotation feature.
