K-31 good to go!

Just got finished cleaning my K-31 that was delivered on the 10th. The bore on this rifle is mirror bright and the bolt and bore look brand new! Aside from a few little nicks on the stock I'm well pleased and cannot wait to go to the range. My C&R license has already caused me to purchase 3 rifles this month alone; Should I pace myself? The only drawback is I hate cosmoline!!!!

Go easy, man! You don't want to OD!

My K31 didn't really need a good cleaning. I just had to run a few patches down the barrel. But that bore looks brand new. I ordered a case of ammo from AIM. It should be here tommorrow. Not sure when I'll get to shoot it, though.

I was going to buy some more CR's, but I found a revolver I had to have.

I didn't have any cosmoline in any of my K31's.
Just needed a couple patches ran through the barrel and the bolt wiped off and that was all.
You will be very happy with your K31.
You will more than likely catch the swiss flue if you don't watch out.
I've caught it three times so far.

K-31's are fun. Especially when you show up at the range with one and about 90% of the folks look at it and ask "WTH is THAT".

Fun also the first time you get conked on top of the head with an ejected casing (mine tends to throw them straight up in the air!)

And finally, when you see how accurate they are. Even funner then!

UMMMMMMM, think I will break it out this weekend.

Got my case of G-11 ammo and sling and muzzle cover from AIM. Hopefully I'll get to shoot it Friday. Let you guys know if I do.

EDIT: K31 has a 6-round mag, and the mag chargers are 6-round. So the ammo comes in 10-round boxes(?) Seems our Gov't/Mil aren't the only ones who can't get things correct.
