nosler 150gr semijacketed

I got a Nosler 150gr semijacketed (only a very small hole on tip) .38sp IPSC bullets box. I cant find it in the online catalog and need to know if it expands and is usefull like a personal defense bullet. Im thinking to load with Bullseye 3.7 (non +P) but that bullet is not in the Alliant powders chart. Any opinions?
