Ouch!

Went down to the gunshop to hang out after returning from the range this morning and this caught my eye.
It was a Universal (made in Spain) 12ga side by side. According to the story the shooter was using reloads and apparently shot a squib load that left the wad in the barrel. Next round was its last.
Was told the shooter had injuries to his thumb but is otherwise OK. The gun has been donated for use at hunter safety programs.

I saw a single shot Western Field that looked like that once. Ever since then I've always looked down my barrels before loading. Maybe that's why I never took to a pump.
