7.62 X 25 carbine?
Did the Soviets ever make a carbine/rifle for the 7.62x25? If so, are they available here in the U.S.?

found one
I checked Gunbroker.com and found one. New, non C&R ppsh43. For sale at $295.00 I'll stick with my SKS.

Not that's available on your C&R.
The PPsh 41 is a C&R machine gun, though. |

They did make a couple of experimental versions while trying to develop their own version of an "assault rifle", but they still didn't have the range, accuracy or power that was required, so they dropped it as a bad idea, and started working with the 7.62x41 and 7.62x39 rounds instead.
