HK P7M13 question...

Does a P7M13 finished/treated with the silvery Robar finish hurt its collectible value? If so, what would be a fair % deduction from one that is untouched - condition being the same?

Any non-original finish hurts collector value, regardless of the firearm.

How much it hurts the value would be next to impossible to state accuratley though, since this is something that is really determined by the desires of the prospective buyer.

Eloquent answer. I would suggest that the P7M13 is hard enough to find that cuurrently the values may be equal or very close.

PSP, that's sort of what I sensed - not usually the case, but with the P7M13, I was thinking that an after market finish might not make a big difference in the short run. Who knows about the long run values???
