looking to date shotgun
Have a .410 H&R sing/shot Patent Feb. 27, 1900 that I'm trying to date.
Anyone know of a site that I can enter the SN and get the date of manufacture? My father bought me the gun used in 1954 for $15, and I spent several years shooting and missing many a squirrel and rabbit before I graduated to a 12 ga. My best guess is that it was made around 1910-15, gathered from what sketchy info I have read. Would appreciate any shared knowledge on the subject. |

Read the title and thought this was going to be about a late nite dinner, bottle of wine and maybe a gunshow. Sorry I can not help but welcome to the site and I am sure someone will be along shortly to help.

AFAIK, H&R didn't introduce a .410 until after WWI.
