Winchester Ranger Series Slug and Buck
Anyone tried this stuff? Any experiances, looking at:
www.winchester.com/law I'm interested in 00 buck, 1 buck, and slugs...btw, whats H.P. Foster slugs? (I tried the search, but its disabled right now)

HP is Hollow Point. Foster ( actually Forster) is a style of slug patented in the 30s.
Winchester generic 00 was my old duty load, there's still some around here someplace. It's OK in my shotguns. We used the HP Winnie Forster slug also. Good accuracy, great terminal performance, but YMMV. Buy some, try it. If it shoots good in your shotguns, get a lot more. HTH... |
