a meridian 12 ga, single shot, good to excellent shape, paid $35.00, wondering if anyone could tell me manufacture dates and approximate worth thanks for any help

I cant remember exact dates but it was pre ww2. inexpensive gun.made in conn?.I hade a 32 5" barrel.I'v got the scar on my thumb."acedent" fire.
