they are beautiful critters, specially on the wall!!! Got a fox squirrel at the taxidermist right now I shot last year. Buddy killed a bobcat last year also and the taxidermist wouldnt take it cause the hide was messed up. Shot with a 300 rum at 330 yards. he didnt think he could hit it, but he did. little over kill huh??

Bobcats, coyotes, and hogs are too plentiful in Texas, and I will take a shot at any of them, anytime it's safe.

We must be carefull where I live due to the Loess Hills Bobcats are endangered so we cant just go shooting every one we see. That is a strain only found in the Loess Hills area. It is geographically unique as well.

I'd a given him what fer!! But as a side note: Wife not crazy about taxidermied bobcat in basement family room.,,, so I traded it for a Savage 110, in .270 win!!

Hog Hunter, I hope your buddy didn't shoot that bobcat in Ga. with a 300 rum, as that would be illegal.
