Ameriglow Tritium Night Sights

Looking for a simple tritium sighting solution in the open rifle sight format. Anyone have any experience with these or know of any comparable products? I checked out XS but these are 1/2 the price. Im wondering if such a difference is justified.

I installed a set of ameriglow's on a G17 several years ago. At about the same time I also installed a XS tritium front sight on a 1911 patten pistol.

When new, the XS was noticeably brighter than the ameriglow and over a couple of years the ameriglow faded even more while the XS stayed bright and strong.

Of course YMMV.
