Does anyone have information on loads for 7mm STW? I want to use a 165gr Nosler Partition and run about 4,000 to 4,200 fps.

Thanks, TinnerN

7mm STW Loads

I think you had better check your figures. Your talking .220 Swift velocities with a 48gr. bullet, NOT 7mm STW numbers.

Also, the Nosler PAR is 160gr., not 165gr.

You can find plenty of STW loading info in any of the newer reloading manuals for all bullet weights.

While mine does fine with the 160's, I would like them faster, the STW got it's reputation with 140gr. bullets.

If anyone can come up with a 7 MM 165 GR bullet load that will safely go 4000 FPS in a 7 MM STW I would love to see it. Some of the hot rod .30 calibers using a 130 gr. bullet might get close to 4000 FPS. Don't get me wrong I'M not saying It can't be done in a few years, but without a doubt someone will try it.
