A pistol AR just because the man doesn't like it lol And at least a longer barreled varmint. Then repeat builds for my lady as well

Actually, I don't own a single one.
Probably will building a purpose-built SBR for self-defense soon, but beyond that- they just don't suit my hobby of long-range shooting. My son, however, opted for one in 6.5 Grendel for that purpose. For me, they just don't do "anything". I'm a bolt gun guy. Period.

I'm not into duplication, although I do have multiple guns for the same purpose (such as 9mm carry piece or main battle rifle or long range bolt sniper) as long as they are substantially different somehow.
To have multiple EXACT copies of something of this nature doesn't make sense to me. But to each his own. Anyway, I have 3 expensive primary hobbies, guns being one of them, and I can't really afford to be in the habit of duplication.

nemesiss45, after you have your third AR for CQB, you will figure out that another AR configuration will be useful for something else and you will soon assemble a fourth. It is inevitable. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

If your budget allows, having multiple AR's is a good thing. You can easily interchange mags and accesories. Switching calibers is very easy as well, or you can have a dedicated rifle for each caliber.
For example, you could own AR's in - 9mm - 223 - 300BLK - 22lr - 6.8 - 7.62x39 All your optics are usable, so are the stocks, pistol grips, and even if you get a Suppressor it can be used on most of the calibers granted you have the correct muzzle attachments. |

During the last "AR mania" event, AR's appreciated 3-5 X their previous value. Money on interest is making .1%. Which rate is bigger? |
