IdahoG36 - I really like that black and white of the P99. I've got a bit of a soft spot for the original model there.

I really liked the "collage" photo entry by a TFL member from Germany that was posted early in November but then it disappeared.

361 people have opened this thread, you would think that more that 1 in 10 would've bothered to vote.

I really liked the way Idaho put together the photo, and the black and white really set it off. Good lighting, nothing glared from flash. Everything was in focus. The only thing I might have changed was that there were five holes and three bullets, but oddities like that occasionally bother me. Also, the cropping may have been a bit more centered.
But I also liked Dave85's photo. Whereas Idaho's photo was great due to the larger picture, Dave85's was great because it was part of a whole. I also liked the way the lighting gave a more vivid sepiaesce tone. Similarly, the texture of the backdrop (leather?) had a similar texture to the gun's grip. Hard decision there, but--for me-- my final decision would be Dave85's. |

#14 is awesome. Of course I love the old Garands. That's my vote.
It was close between it and #16.
