Looking for people who have hunted African Lion(s). Would like to hear how the hunt was and if you would recomend or warn about PH's or countries or anything else.

Yep, unsuccesfully. Tanzania is your best bet if cost is no object. The Moyowosi and Selous Reserves have outstanding success rates. The areas of Zimbabwe around Hwange National Park seem to be the best on a budget. Cats coming from the park to the cattle ranches outside the boundaries are baited at night. Call Mitch Bunce at 7048492467. I have hunted with him three times with complete satisfaction and have taken about 30 animals of all descriptions.
No luck on lion yet. Rob
quote:
Originally posted by Glamdring: Looking for people who have hunted African Lion(s). Would like to hear how the hunt was and if you would recomend or warn about PH's or countries or anything else. [/quote] |
