6 black belts - 1 lucky guy w/ a knife 1dead black belt kung foo quick stop mgr took a BIG chance, but it paid off so what do I know? |

I saw that one on the news, the quickiemart guy was a six time black belt.
The BG actually got his butt kicked.

Black Belt in what form of martial arts? Huge difference between a Black Belt in tae kwon do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

they always tell you never do high kicks esp the flashy jumping high kicks... sort of like never shoot from the hip... i guess SOMETIMES it works.

brazilian ju-jitsu works good in the octagon, but if i have a gun concealed, i would not want to get into grappling range. Dosen't apply to vid in origional post, just my thoughts on martial arts in general, UFC made brazilian ju-jitsu popular, but there is a time for grappling, and a time for striking. balance is always a good approach. if there are 2 guys you probably just want to survive untill some bystander, LEO etc intervines. If you put BG #1 in a figure 4 leg lock BG #2 will hit you in the back of the head with a folding chair. have we learned NOTHING from TV?
