AR gas tube I.D.
Anybody happen to have a spare gas tube lying around that can give me the ID?
I need the I.D. for a fix to a MAS that was re-chambered in .308. |

Are you looking for a .223 gas tube ID or a .308 gas tube ID?

From what I understand I need an AR 15 tube. I need to slow down the gas impulse a touch.

I thought I had a tube to gauge in the basement, but I don't find it. I have full drawings on the Garand and M14, but not the AR, so I can't look it up for you.
If you are at all uncertain what you need, you might consider the adjustable one Fulton Armory sells?
