Is a Sig 226 legal in IDPA?
9 mill with a accesory light rail, full size, non stainless steal, blue Sig 226. Thanks.

Yeah, it's legal. Just don't put a laser on the rail.

Yes...the non stainless version is fine..well under the weight restrictions of SSP..

Looks like even the stainless version would be legal for ESP....

Better be, I have one very tuned for IDPA SSP this season. It is (was) a plain vanilla P226 CPO with "folded" slide and no searchlight rail, though.

I heard, or is it 'herd', that William Wilson personally saw to it that the heavier stainless steal Sig 226 got tossed out of IDPA. I agree, the lighter 226 with an empty searchlight rail should be cool. But you never know...
