Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44 LR Dead Hold BDC
Camera land has a good deal on demo units of this scope (http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/v...perhs4-16x44lr).
Anyone know anything about this scope? I am looking at getting myself a retirement gift of an AR dedicated to varmint shooting (maybe the new RRA LAR 15 X-1 Rifle (http://rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?f...ategory_id=606) and putting a scope of approximately this magnification on it. Thanks |

I have the HS-T 4-16x 44 and I love it. The "T" model has exposed elev/wind age turrets and a mil or moa reticle. I believe the HS only has elevation, but there are still sub tensions for windage correction.
Vortex also has exceptional customer service. I sent a broken ( self inflicted) pair of binos back on Monday and had them back on Friday. I'm already considering another HS-T as I'm really happy with the one I have. Here's a pic of it on top of my Sig SSG 3000. |
