Bernardelli PO-18 Compact troubles, help
Having troubles with a Bernardelli PO-18 compact, even after a new extractor,
it breaks after the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round fired. What might be the cause. Everything else looks normal. It's a nice unit overall, but............. |

I had a buddy with the same pistol. the extractor cracked after just a couple boxes of ammo. He couldn't find a replacement since Bernadelli stopped making pistols a long time ago (10 or 20 years ago).
I think that the problem was probably caused by improper annealing. He ended up selling it to a gunsmith who was planning to hand make a replacement. |
