Mossberg Mag Extension

Since no one makes a mag tube extension for the 590 can I merely swap a mag tube for a 20 inch barrel for the one on my 18 inch barrel?

Vang Comp Systems makes a 1 shot extension for the 18 1/2" 590-A1.

No, you can't swap the 20" magazine tube. What's going to hold the barrel in place, spacers? Also, if you have a tube that extends past the muzzle, the finish tends to get blown off.

I don't see it listed on their site?

It looks the same as the 2 shot extension for Remington, but it's shorter and threaded for Mossberg. The price is $70.

I think Tacstar or Choate may make a 2 shot extension for Mossbergs. If they do, you would have to figure out how to shorten it.
