extractor upgrade

I had an extractor break on my Mini-14. It does not surprise me because it is a cast part. Does anyone know who makes a forged or higher quality extractor for the Mini-14?

Skeeter, I don't know of any aftermarket extractors. Also depending on the series you have Ruger may refuse to sell the part. I've read a few posts on other sites where folks have had problems getting parts for the 180s. If you run into that, take it to your local smith and see if he can't weld up and recut the extractor. George
