Online Auctions: Any favorites?

It has been a few years since I looked but I used to try Gun Broker. Any other recommended sites?
Is our own Buy Trade Sell subforum searchable by State?

Thanks to all.

You can search our own B/S/T forums for state keywords, but in my experience there isn't so much there that it's worth doing. Anything more than a couple pages back is likely sold. The AR15.com Equipment Exchange can also be mined the same way and is much busier.

I have also bought stuff off GunsAmerica.com (similar to Gun Broker) too.

Check some of your local forums as well. We have a couple of forums in Florida that are good sources for firearms. You can save on transfer fees shipping within state or meeting in person.

ETA: Your state's laws may vary slightly from ours.

Sorry, but Gunbroker is the best. Nothing else comes close, especially if you are looking for something unique, unusual or hard to find. I'm just glad we still have Gunbroker. Looks like Ebay got a little scared when it saw Gunbroker eating up a nice chunk of business, so it now permits the sale of some gun parts and magazines.

Not a auction site but Armslist. dot com is also a good place to look.... its the Craigslist of firearms. You can search by city, state, or all 50.

I've bought some off Gunbroker before, its okay. I personally don't like buying things like firearms at auctions myself, as they sometimes tend to drive the price up in the sellers favor. Of course I think they are great, when I'm selling.

The new system on Gunbroker, although I suppose its not really new at this date. Allows time to decide on the final bid. Its like the auctioneer saying going, going, gone. If someone makes a bid with one second to go in the auction, it automatically resets the clock to 15 minutes left, I believe. That is better than when used to, at last second someone could bid and win it. Now, you have time to decide if you want to out bid them.
