Total Tactical Training, Inc. is offering a 2-day Tactical handgun course in the Los Angeles area on January 25-26, 2003.

Course Information:
2-Day Total Tactical Handgun Course #150

This course is comprised of both lectures and range time and will cover the fundamentals of handgun operation, safety, and mechanics for both revolvers and semi-automatics. We will quickly transition into safe gun handling, weapons manipulation, operating under stress, delivering fast, accurate defensive fire on target from distances of 3 to 15 yards, dealing with multiple adversaries (which occur in more than 50% of all violent encounters), and strategic movement and tactics.

Lectures will cover California laws including transport, storage, and sale of firearms along with the color code of mental awareness, use of deadly force in the immediate defense of life (IDOL), the PADE cycle (OODA loop)along with how to out-wit/out-maneuver your opponent, and much more.

You will need 500 rounds of factory new ammunition for this class.
Reloads are not permitted. In addition, if you are using a Glock handgun, ammunition from American Arms (clear plastic packaging) is not permitted. The class will take place rain or shine so please be prepared for inclement weather. Cost for the class is $395 for two days.

For those who demonstrate competency and pass a written test, a California Handgun Safety Certificate (HSC) may be issued. There is an additional fee of $25 for the HSC (see additional information below).

Note on the new HSC: As of January 1, 2003, in order to purchase a handgun in California, the purchaser must have a Handgun Safety Certificate issued by a DOJ Certified instructor. **Existing Basic Firearms Safety Certificates (BFSC) will be invalid as of 12/31/2002.** To obtain your HSC you will have to pass a 30 question written test. The new HSC is good for five (5) years.
